現年68歲的李炳輝，過去以一首〈流浪到淡水〉走紅，但在10年前中風後，僅靠零星商演、老人年金度日。近日傳出他與結婚13年的妻子婚姻出現狀況，對此李炳輝否認，表示：「我們還有住一起。」老婆許雅惠則透露李炳輝目前住在雲林朋友家，平時在雲彰一帶表演，證實兩人未住在同屋簷下。

許雅惠也說李炳輝今年還未接到尾牙、跨年邀約，平時一個月商演最多兩場，生活似乎不太好過。李炳輝則說：「生活馬馬虎虎。」而後不願多談此事，怕別人可憐他。

槍手裴德克（Stephen Paddock）1日晚間從拉斯維加斯飯店朝一場鄉村音樂演唱會大開殺戒，奪走58條人命，近500人受傷。擁槍遊說團體美國步槍協會（National Rifle Association）再度成為槍枝暴力幫凶，而廣受批評，NRA在5日終於作出回應，要求管制「撞火槍托」，但是拒絕禁售槍枝。

美國法律禁售1986年之後生產的全自動武器，但是半自動武器透過撞火槍托改造，仍可具備連發射擊能力。「撞火槍托」（Bump Stock）為彈簧式機械裝置，利用槍枝後座力來反覆快速扣動扳機，讓使用者能夠每分鐘發射數百發子彈。

據信，裴德克將合法購買的步槍改造，加裝撞火槍托與高容量彈夾，改造後每分鐘最多可射出800發子彈，再對鄉村音樂演唱會2萬多名群眾大開殺戒，才會在短時間內造成如此慘重傷亡。

NRA領導人拉皮耶（Wayne LaPierre）與柯克斯（Chris Cox）5日呼籲美國當局，重新檢討所謂撞火槍托（Bump Stock）的相關法規。這是在發生美國史上最慘重槍擊案，NRA在神隱多日後，首度作出回應。

不過，NRA仍拒絕禁售槍枝。長期以來，NRA堅持擁有槍枝是美國憲法賦予人民的權力，並透過遊說國會議員，使得槍枝管制相關法案在國會難以過關。
